Who controls your data
Optimo is the controller of personal data handled through this service. For privacy questions or GDPR requests, email privacy@optimoco.in.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, authentication identifiers, and account creation details.
- Profile data: your display name, optional biography, and optional profile picture.
- Rewrite data: text you submit, rewritten output, selected mode, and creation time when the result is saved to History.
- Usage and technical data: plan, rewrite and word counts, consent preference, and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
Why we use it
We process account, profile, usage, and rewrite data to provide the service, authenticate users, create requested rewrites, maintain History, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, secure accounts, and respond to support or legal requests. Our legal bases include performing our contract with you, your consent for optional analytics, our legitimate interests in security and service improvement, and legal obligations where applicable.
Submitted content and retention
Your submitted text is sent to the AI provider to produce the requested rewrite. Optimo stores the original and rewritten text only as one History record; it does not create a separate permanent copy. History remains until you delete an entry or your account. Free-plan views may show a shorter period, but you can request a copy by emailing privacy@optimoco.in or delete your account through Profile Settings. Account and usage records remain while your account is active, then are deleted with the account, subject to limited legal or security retention obligations.
Cookies and local storage
Essential browser storage keeps you signed in and remembers your privacy choice. Optional analytics is disabled unless you explicitly accept it. No analytics provider is currently installed. Use Cookie Preferences in the footer to change your decision.
Your GDPR rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Request access or portability by emailing privacy@optimoco.in. Signed-in users can permanently delete their data in Profile Settings. We may verify identity before fulfilling a request.
Security
We use encrypted HTTPS transport, owner-scoped database access rules, private profile-picture storage, authenticated server operations, and access controls. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Children and changes
Optimo is not directed to children under 16. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the date above for material updates.
